The Sunflower Chapter’s first educational event for the year was the 22nd Annual Cost Report Workshop, held in Wichita, Kansas on July 28th and 29th at the Wichita Marriott. The workshop was very well attended. “I’d call it a full house,” said Ruth DeWitt. “There’s always something new to learn in this annual workshop. Even the most experienced professional walks away with a new approach or perspective.”
The event provided an in-depth presentation of the Medicare cost report and the key factors that drive reimbursement as well as opportunities to better understand the cost reporting process and the practical steps needed to prepare the cost report itself. The information presented in KSHFMA’s Annual Cost Report Workshop enables the Medicare cost report preparer in Kansas healthcare organization to be more proficient and effective in the preparation and understanding of the Medicare cost report as it relates to their provider.
Thank you to all of our speakers, volunteers, and business sponsors that helped make our 2016 inaugural educational event so successful!
